Georgetown, Maine Time-lapse

This is a time-lapse I created in Georgetown, Maine. It contains over 20,000 images, mostly sunrises, shot around the island.

Arduino Rig

This is a demonstration of a time-lapse motion control rig I built using an Arduino and stepper motor. Most time-lapse motion rigs can perform smooth movement from one point to another. I am building my own so that I can shoot smooth motions non-linearly. Combined with some Blender scripting, my camera can shoot exact positions of a continuous motion in a non-linear order enabling really interesting shots that are impossible with professional-grade time-lapse equipment. This is a work in progress, and I am currently adding another motor for two axes of movement.
